KynSHOT Spacer Weight

The KynSHOT Spacer Weight, developed in collaboration with Blitzkrieg Components, is designed for use with both our PCC hydraulic buffers and AR-platform hydraulic buffers. This spacer adds 0.75 inches of length and 2.5 ounces of mass in front of the buffer, helping create a tighter fit within the buffer tube while preventing the buffer from tilting during the cycling process.

Compatibility & Use

• If you want the bolt to cycle fully and stop behind the bolt catch, you'll need to use an AR-10/A5-length buffer tube, which provides the necessary additional 0.75" internal length.

• If you're configuring a short-stroke system using this spacer with a PCC buffer — where the bolt stops forward of the bolt catch — you should use a standard AR-15 buffer tube.

• Additional buffer mass is especially important in short-stroke PCC setups, as the bolt has less time to decelerate.

Recommended Configuration

For most guns with 8" to 16" barrels, the ideal setup is to run this Spacer Weight in front of an RB5015HD buffer, combined with a .308 carbine buffer spring, inside an AR-10 or A5 buffer tube to achieve a full bolt stroke.

If your bolt has a rear weight pinned in place, we recommend leaving it installed to retain the full mass of your bolt for optimal reliability.
