Helps prevent baffle strikes and other damage caused by improper mounting or poor thread/flash hider alignment. Carbon fiber is lightweight, very strong, and bore-friendly compared to steel rods.

Simple alignment check procedure

1. Safety first: clear the firearm — verify an empty chamber and remove the magazine.
2. Install the suppressor (or QD adapter / muzzle device) per the manufacturer's instructions.
3. Select the rod matching the caliber and insert it from the muzzle through the suppressor.
4. Visually confirm the rod is centered within the suppressor bore with no contact to the baffles.
5. If any contact is observed, inspect threads, shims, gas system, or mounting alignment for issues.
