Most scope levels only work when you look at them. That interruption is exactly what costs points in PRS and breaks your rhythm when shooting at long range. The SCACD-28 is an electronic scope level with dual LED indicators that keep cant information in your peripheral vision – your eyes stay on the target.
What an electronic level is and why cant matters
Even a small cant of the rifle shifts the point of impact sideways and down – and the error grows with distance. A classic bubble level solves this, but forces you to take your eye off the image and check the bubble. In slow fire it is a minor thing; under time pressure and on positional stages it is a real distraction. The SCACD-28 gives continuous feedback on cant without interrupting your aiming.
Dual LED indication
The LED indicators are on the body and near the eyepiece, so you notice cant with your peripheral vision from any position. The aluminium body is only 82 mm long and weighs 58 g – you will hardly notice it on the rifle.
High sensitivity and real-time response
Sensors with adjustable sensitivity report even the slightest cant instantly; electronic calibration keeps the alignment precise throughout use. This is what it looks like in practice:
Built for the field
A 6061-T6 aluminium body, IP65 water and dust protection, operation from −40 °C to +70 °C. The side Weaver mount keeps the profile low and does not get in the way of the optic or positional shooting.
Power and battery
When switched on with the function button, the LEDs show the battery status: 4 LEDs = 80–100%, 3 LEDs = 50–80%, 2 LEDs = 30–50%, 1 LED = below 30%, all flashing = charging needed. After 10 minutes of inactivity it goes into power-saving mode – any movement wakes it up. It charges via USB-C at the rear, even from a power bank at the range.
