The Wilson Combat Super Sniper is a match-grade AR-15 barrel built for accurate work at longer distances. It is machined from American 416R rifle-rated stainless on CNC equipment, with a hand-polished bore and feed ramps and a chamber and gas port optimised for reliability. Every barrel goes through a final inspection and carries a precision muzzle crown.
The .223 Wylde chamber combines the accuracy of a match .223 Remington chambering with the reliability of high-velocity 5.56×45 NATO ammunition. The throat is tighter than 5.56 while case dimensions stay unchanged, so standard military ammunition runs without issue.
The heavy Super Sniper contour is lightened with flutes both ahead of and behind the gas block journal. The finish is matte bead-blasted stainless.
Gas block and gas tube are not included. Wilson recommends the TR-LPGB-M gas block and TR-GTR rifle-length gas tube for this barrel.
Accuracy note: for barrels sold separately Wilson expects 3-shot groups of 1.5″ or less at 100 yards when properly assembled by a gunsmith and fired with match ammunition. This is an expectation, not a guarantee — the guarantee applies only to complete rifles built by Wilson Combat.
