We believe Tipton® Best Bore Brushes™ are the highest-quality brushes on the market. They meet or even exceed military specifications and are designed to satisfy the shooter who wants the best tool for maintaining their firearm. The components of Tipton brushes will not scratch or otherwise damage the bore. The core is a single twisted piece of brass onto which the brass bristles are wound, which ensures that the bristles never fall out in the bore. The bristles are made of very high-quality brass, which is much softer than steel yet still aggressive enough to remove lead, brass and burnt powder residue. Each brush has approximately 20% more brass bristles than other standard brushes. You are guaranteed to feel the difference. Because of their density, we strongly recommend using them with a Tipton carbon fiber cleaning rod and a suitable bore guide.
