We believe Tipton® Best Bore Brushes™ are the highest quality brushes on the market. They meet or even exceed military specifications and are designed to satisfy the shooter who wants the best tool for maintaining their firearm. Tipton brush components will not scratch or otherwise damage the bore. The core is a single twisted piece of brass onto which the bristles are twisted, which guarantees that the bristles will never fall out in the barrel. The bristles are made of very high-quality brass, which is much softer than steel, yet still aggressive enough to remove lead, copper and powder residue. Each brush contains approximately 20% more bristles than other standard brushes. You will definitely feel the difference. Because of their density, we strongly recommend using them with a Tipton carbon fiber cleaning rod and a suitable bore guide.
