We believe Tipton® Best Bore Brushes™ are the highest quality brushes offered on the market. They meet or exceed military requirements and are engineered to satisfy the shooter who wants the best tool to maintain their weapon. Tipton brush components will not scratch or otherwise damage the barrel. The center is a simple curved piece of brass that the brass hairs are curled onto, ensuring that the brass hairs will never fall out in the barrel. The brass hairs are made of very high quality brass that is much finer than steel, but still aggressive enough to remove lead, brass and burnt powder residue. Each brush contains approximately 20% more brass hair than other standard brushes. You're guaranteed to feel the difference. Because of their density, we strongly recommend using them with a Tipton carbon cleaning rod and a suitable chamber feeder.
