The Timney Alpha Competition is a competition trigger for the Glock Gen 6. Instead of an adjustable pull it goes for a fixed 3 lb break that is crisp out of the box — nothing to tune.
At the heart of it is the Teflon nickel (NP3) finish on the trigger bar and sear. It practically removes friction, making the pull exceptionally smooth.
Installation needs no gunsmith — the housing simply snaps in, and the trigger reuses all factory Glock parts and springs, so it does not disturb the pistol’s reliability.
The manufacturer specifies it for competition use only and for stock, unmodified Glock pistols.
