One of the main benefits of the new generation is significantly improved battery life, now up to 10 hours depending on the specific Thunder 2.0 model. Power is no longer supplied by a conventional battery but by a custom-made Hikmicro plug-in battery that can be easily charged with a USB-C cable through the device or in a docking station. The overall appearance of the Thunder has also been updated, with a strong emphasis on easy and quick operation. The TQ50, TQ35 and TH35P models are equipped with an objective focus wheel to make them even easier to use. 

The Thunder 2.0 thermal riflescope is the second generation of this popular model line. The TQ50 2.0 is its flagship, equipped with the best technologies and features. A perfect image is provided by the latest generation Hikmicro thermal core with a resolution of 640x512px, a pixel pitch of 12μm and a record thermal sensitivity of <20mK. It is this unrivaled thermal sensitivity that ensures clear identification of even small details in any conditions. The image is displayed on a top-class 1024×768px OLED display, which has several adjustment levels so that it suits you perfectly and is easy on your eyes. 

The Thunder 2.0 offers extensive zeroing options, with a choice of 10 reticles and the ability to save up to 5 firearm profiles. In addition, it features recoil-activated automatic recording, an automatic countdown before calibration and a new user menu.
