The Ruger AR-556 is an affordable M4-style semi-automatic rifle. It was intensively tested during development, and only the highest-quality components and materials were used in its manufacture. The receiver is made of 7075-T6 aluminum alloy. The cold hammer-forged chrome-moly barrel with a 1/2"-28 thread has a black nitrided finish for corrosion resistance. Robust construction and reliability are attributes you can expect as standard from the Ruger brand.
