The HE515CM ELITE GREEN model belongs to the higher class of HOLOSUN red dot sights. Its main advantage is the high-quality AL 7075 T6 alloy with a very durable finish.
Interesting features include see-through covers that allow you to aim quickly through them.
Of course, it has a quick-release mount and a removable KillFlash. Power – CR2032 battery, conveniently stored in the sight while remaining easily accessible. 2 MOA dot, 65 MOA circle.
The solar panel powers the reticle and automatically adjusts reticle brightness. The sight can also be controlled manually.
The see-through mount can be removed to reduce the height of the sight above the rail.

| Surface finish | PEO/MAO finish: plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO), also known as micro-arc oxidation (MAO), is an electrochemical process that creates a durable metal oxide layer on the surface of the material, which effectively protects it. The process is similar to anodizing but uses a higher potential, so that low-current-density plasma discharges occur and modify the surface of the material. This process is used to create a thin crystalline layer (tens to hundreds of micrometers) on aluminum, magnesium and titanium. Because this method offers high hardness, stability and continuity, these finishes can protect the material against normal wear, heat and corrosion, as well as act as an electrical insulator. |
