5K sensor and round OLED display

The 4096 × 3024 px sensor with 2 µm pixels and 0.001 lx sensitivity, combined with PARD VLEA 2.0 image processing, delivers a detailed picture by day and by night. The round 2560 × 2560 px OLED display feels like looking through a conventional riflescope. Use the colour mode in daylight and the black-and-white mode with the IR illuminator in the dark; red, green and yellow modes are also available. Picture-in-picture (PIP) shows the magnified centre of the scene in a separate window while keeping the full view.

Lens-integrated rangefinder and ballistic calculator

The laser rangefinder is integrated into the objective lens and measures distances up to 1,000 m without an extra module on the scope. The reading appears directly in the image while you aim. The ballistic calculator stores multiple profiles, for example for different loads or rifles.

PARD IR2 940 nm illuminator

The 940 nm wavelength is practically invisible to the eye – there is no red glow for game to notice. Compared with 850 nm the range is somewhat shorter. The detachable IR2 module is included in the set and its output can be adjusted to suit the conditions.

Controls and focusing

The objective is focused with a side wheel from 10 m to infinity. The top rotary knob navigates the menu and changes magnification, and frequently used functions have their own buttons. Eye relief is 60 mm and the diopter adjustment is −5 to +5 D.

Dual power supply for up to 6 hours

A built-in 21700 battery is complemented by a removable 18650 battery. The manufacturer states up to 6 hours of operation; actual runtime depends on use (illuminator, Wi-Fi, recording). External power via USB-C is also supported.

Photo, video and app

The Night Stalker 5K eX takes photos and records video at 1280 × 1280 px (JPG / MP4) to a microSD card of up to 128 GB. It supports loop recording, time stamps and recoil-activated recording. With Wi-Fi and the PardVision2 app you can stream the image and browse recordings on your phone; an HDMI output is also provided.

Rugged construction

The aluminium alloy body is rated IP67, withstands 6,000 J of recoil (manufacturer data) and operates from −30 to +55 °C.
