The design of the cover ensures that zero is retained. The part is made by investment casting and then CNC machined. It is attached by side lugs and the original pin of the rear cover. Four internal projections that fit into a recess in the receiver ensure proper seating on the firearm.

Supplied without springs. The springs from the original dust cover must be used.
