The TISAS ZIG M1911 A1 is a faithful reproduction of the legendary American M1911A1 service pistol in .45 ACP. This unit comes with a parkerized (phosphate) finish matching the original military specification – matte, dark and corrosion resistant. The model is also offered in a black Cerakote version; this one is parkerized.
All major parts are made of forged steel. The pistol has a single-sided thumb safety on the left and a grip safety. Forged hammer, A1 sights, solid trigger and lanyard loop underline the originality of this model. The barrel is of classic design with a bushing, the grips are wooden, screwed, with the U.S. logo.
