The P40 pistol in this caliber combines the high performance of the .40S&W cartridge with the now-classic K 100 rotating barrel locking system. The pistol is built on the latest generation Mk12 frame. The main feature of the new Mk12 frame concept is takedown via a sliding lever, which replaced the original takedown via the trigger guard. This innovation brings higher frame strength, extends frame service life, increases the reliability of the pistol and simplifies disassembly. The slide, with its pleasant rounded shape and serrations at the rear, provides a comfortable grip when racking the pistol.
