GLOCK 17 Gen5 FR, cal. 9×19 mm

New 5th-generation features: 1. GLOCK Marksman Barrel: the barrel has new rifling that increases accuracy. 2. nDLC finish on the barrel and slide: improves protection against corrosion and scratches and increases the pistol's reliability in adverse conditions. 3. Ambidextrous slide stop lever: improves left-handed operation. 4. Removal of the finger grooves on the grip: the straight front of the grip allows a consistently comfortable grip for a wider range of shooters regardless of hand size and use of gloves. 5. Flared magazine well: makes magazine insertion easier, especially in high-stress situations where fractions of a second count. 6. New magazines (01, ORANGE): an orange follower and an extended front of the magazine floorplate speed up magazine changes.

As a limited edition, Glock launched a special series of the model identical to the one used by the French Army.
