The Faxon 5.56 Gunner Lightweight Bolt Carrier Group (BCG) is a premium upgrade for any AR-15 platform, engineered to deliver enhanced performance, reliability, and reduced weight — without compromise.

Crafted from high-strength 9310 tool steel, this complete BCG is designed to withstand extreme use and abuse. The salt bath nitride finish not only increases surface hardness but also protects against corrosion and wear, making it ideal for harsh environments and high-volume shooting.

The Gunner Lightweight design reduces mass to just 8.5 oz (complete), helping to smooth cycling, decrease felt recoil, and enable faster follow-up shots. The redesigned cam path and chamfered bolt lugs further enhance reliability, even with high-pressure or hand-loaded ammunition. Forward assist serrations are included for dependable weapon manipulation under all conditions.

No corners were cut. This BCG is full-auto rated and maintains the trip sear for compatibility with full-auto fire control groups and modern multi-stage triggers. It’s also fully mil-spec or better — including a shot-peened bolt, magnetic particle inspection (MPI), and a superfinished carrier that dramatically reduces friction and fouling.

The bolt comes pre-installed with a spring, insert, and Crane O-ring, and features an S7 tool steel extractor for maximum durability and positive extraction.

Gas keys are torqued with Grade 8 fasteners and properly staked for lifetime service. Each unit passes strict quality control and is laser-engraved with the Faxon Shield — a mark of precision, reliability, and confidence.
