We believe Tipton® Best Bore Brushes™ are the highest quality brushes available on the market. They meet or even exceed military specifications and are designed to satisfy the shooter who wants the best tool for maintaining their firearm. Tipton brush components will not scratch or otherwise damage the bore. The core is a single twisted piece of brass onto which the brass bristles are wound, which guarantees that the brass bristles will never fall out in the barrel. The bristles are made of very high-quality brass, which is much softer than steel yet still aggressive enough to remove lead, brass and burnt powder residue. Each brush contains approximately 20% more brass bristles than other standard brushes. You will definitely feel the difference. Because of their density, we strongly recommend using them with a Tipton carbon cleaning rod and a suitable chamber guide.
